The box, chains and 8 quicklinks are all stainless steel.
You can hang each chain straight up so it hangs stable and they can dig.
Also, you can hang all the chains at the top of 1 link so they will grab more out than go in. Although the smaller birds will. But then for the smaller ones it is not unstable either.
Do you want it for size caique, pied farmer or smaller. Then just indicate that. Then finer chains will go on it.
For everything with chains only use under supervision.
The contents of the container comes in bags, because it does not stay in place during transport.
